A session with Maureen Bates Photography is an individualized experience.
You can expect for your session:
- Client vision: Time will be taken to understand the desires of the client's vision for the photoshoot, family member(s) dynamics (ex. multi generational, vs. couples), any special needs requirements that I should be aware of, and for children, their general personalities.
- Flexible scheduling: Outdoor photoshoots require flexibility!
- Location: Assistance locating the perfect location
- Wardrobe: Advice will be given if needed, Pinterest is a wonderful resource for wardrobe ideas!
- Props:: Advice on props will be provided
Fees include the session time and number of images included in the selected package.
Booking your session will require $150 retainer to be applied to the remaining balance of the package.
NC Sales tax of 7.25% will be applied
*Sessions will take place up to 2 hours before sunset*
**Due to the nature of outdoor photography, a rain date will need to be selected**

Mini Session
This session is perfect for small families.
This session will include:
- Up to 5 family members, $25 each additional
- No outfit changes
- Minimum of 10 images delivered through an online sharable gallery
- Easy online print, custom albums, canvases, cards and gift items can be purchased right from your gallery
- Images delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images to ensure that they are as beautiful as you and your family.
$400- 30 minutes
Full Session
This session will accommodate larger and extended families (Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc.) special occasion portraits, ability to shoot in several different areas (within the same general location). This session is also perfect for small families or individuals that want a deluxe experience. Multiple shooting locations (within the same general area).
This session will include:
- Up to 10 family members (if you have additional, let's chat to ensure that the location will accommodate the number desired) $25 each additional member
- 1 full outfit change
- Minimum of 20 images delivered through an online sharable gallery
- Easy online print, custom albums, canvases, cards and git items can be purchased right from your gallery!
- Images delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images to ensure that they are as beautiful as you and your family.
$500- 1 hour
Head Shot Session
Set yourself apart from your competition or boost your professional appeal! A head shot also makes a great gift for your family and or significant other! Realtor, doctor, attorney, executive, actor.. I will provide a head shot that will help you stand out!
This session will include:
- Up to 2 outfit changes
- Location agreed upon in advance
- A minimum of 5 images delivered through an online sharable gallery.
- Easy online print, custom albums, canvases, cards and git items can be purchased right from your gallery!
- Images delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images.
$250- 30 minutes

Senior/ Graduate Session
Congratulations! What an accomplishment! For you and your child!
This session will include:
- Outdoor location agreed upon in advance
- Up to 3 outfit changes (one being cap and gown)
- At least 10 high quality digital images edited and provided in a sharable digital gallery
- Props are encouraged! Let's have fun!
- Proofs delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images.
$350- 1 hour

Lucky in Love Session
This session will be all about you and the love that you share! Perfect for couples that want to capture their love, engagement and /or couples maternity. We will meet at an agreed outdoor location, feel free to bring your special play list, a blanket and whatever props that will showcase the both of you! Think of it as a date, with a photographer documenting the experience!
This session will include:
- Outdoor location- agreed upon in advance
- At least 20 high quality digital images edited and provided in a shareable gallery
- Proofs delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images.
$400- 1 hour
Newborn/Baby Session
As a mom, I remember how hard it was to get out the door with your precious love! Let me bring the session to you! The focus can be just on the baby or parents and siblings included as well.
This session will include:
- 60-90 minute session in your home, no need to pack that diaper bag!
- -At least 20 high quality digital images edited and provided in a sharable gallery
- Props and outfit changes are encouraged!
- Proofs delivered up to a week post shoot. I take great care in editing the images.

Maternity Session
Oh how beautiful you are! I just love to capture all of the glow of a mom to be! This session is all about you! Enjoy a special pampered session at your pace at a location of your choosing!
This session will include:
- Location agreed upon in advance
- At least 10 high quality digital images provided in a sharable gallery
- Special package price for babies first year (4 sessions) including cake smash!- 5 sessions total ($1000- a savings of $1000!)

Babies First Year Session Package
There is nothing more special than that first year! They change so much, be sure to capture it all! Sessions occur every 3 months and you get 5 sessions, including the cake smash!
- Location agreed upon in advance (can be in home or we can be outside, weather permitting

$1400- a savings of $600!
Cake Smash Session
Baby, oh baby, you are ONE! Just the cutest time to capture the adorable personalities of your now one year old!
This session will include:
- Small cake to match the theme
- Location agreed upon in advance

- Props encouraged!

Lifestyle/ Branding Session

- Concept Building Consultation- 1 hour (days or weeks in advance)
- Location agreed upon in advance

Exclusive Experience Session- 1.5 hour

This session is the most deluxe session offered! Perfect for multiple shooting locations (can't decide between the lighthouse and the point? Let's do both! Need extra time for several outfit changes? Wanting that model session you always dreamed of on the beach or by the lake? This is the shoot for you!
